My name is Rihannah Lacey. I am a Yolŋu woman from North-East Arnhem Land Northern Territory (NT). I belong to the Dhaḻwaŋu tribe from Gurrumuru, I was born in Nhulunbuy Gove but grew up in Galiwin’ku Elcho Island. My goal is to gain cultural knowledge, dance practice and knowing’s and develop skills in contemporary and Contemporary Indigenous Dance (CID). This is my second year at NAISDA and I would like to challenge myself to explore new dance techniques. In the future I aspire to share my cultural Storys with communities and dance companies across Australia.
