World Class Training Facilities and Dance Studios
The 2022 refurbishment of a former studio space transformed a campus building into a small theatre and creative space, Incubator Lab.
The fit-out with av, projection, acoustics, tarkett dancefloor and racked seating for audiences provides purpose-specific, nurturing and safe learning space where NAISDA students develop and present creative dance, physical theatre and multi-media works.
The incubator lab also provides space for community engagement programming and events, accommodating live performance, gatherings, films, lectures, presentations and seminars which foster long-term exchange and learning with audiences, schools and community.
The project was supported with funding from the Australian Government’s regional grants program Building Better Regions Fund through the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.
