My name is Jaydn Bin-Garpe and I am currently studying Certificate III at NAISDA Dance College. I am from Cairns, Far North Queensland. My Mob is Gimuy Wallubarra Yidinji and Gungarri. On my Torres Strait side I come from Mabuyiag Island and Badu Island. My whole life I’ve been surrounded by culture and dance. Coming to NAISDA gives me opportunities for personal, spiritual and cultural growth, as well as to create future pathways for myself in the performing arts.
