Alira Morgan is a Yuin and Gamilaroi woman. She is 19 years old, studying and training for her Diploma at NAISDA. She recently performed in NAISDA’s 2023 performance of ATI at Carriageworks, Sydney. Alira has had performance experience with South Coast Southern Stars from 2013 to 2022. In 2022 Alira was awarded the Aboriginal Young Achiever Award for her contributions to community for teaching and performing Aboriginal song and dance. Alira has a passion for hip-hop, contemporary and cultural genres of dance. She shares her culture and works with others to express herself and her ongoing story. Alira values all aspects of working, sharing and creating collaboratively.
