In 2017, Bangarra presents a brand new contemporary dance work that will leave you in awe of Australia’s history, choreographed by Artistic Director Stephen Page. This brand new work is Bangarra at its best. In a unique Australian dance language, the company embraces history – celebrating the continuation of life and culture with the power, artistry, passion and physicality of the country’s most acclaimed dancers.
Bring your mob to be among the first to see Stephen Page’s newest work, Bennelong, for Community Night at Sydney Opera House. Community Nights are dedicated performances for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and Bangarra’s way of connecting with those who share the culture and history sewn through storytelling.
