Contemporary-Indigenous Dance teacher

An employment opportunity exists within WAAPA’s Aboriginal Performance programme for a Contemporary-Indigenous dance teacher. This certificate IV accredited course accepts up to eighteen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island students per year from across Australia. The main focus is Acting with significant Dance content. The initial position is for semester 1 with ongoing contract possible.

The dance component occupies eight hours per week in semester 1.

Position: Contemporary – Indigenous Dance and movement teacher

Period: Semester 1, 2017

Duration: Fifteen weeks at eight hours per week

Remuneration: Up to $110.00 per hour
