Bangarra Dance College is an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander organisation and one of Australia’s leading performing arts companies with worldwide acclaim.
The iconic Indigenous dance college is now calling for applications for the 2017 Russell Page Graduate Program. They are seeking one female and one male dance graduate aged between 18 and 23, of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, to work with Bangarra as part of the Russell Page Graduate Program.
The Russell Page Graduate Program (RPGP) provides training, professional development, touring and performance opportunities for dance graduates’ development as professional artists within Bangarra Dance Theatre.
Successful applicants will commence their studies in mid-March 2017 for a 9-month period. These developing artists will learn the role of the artist in a creative cultural context, professional training in dance techniques, physical conditioning, professional and personal development, and evaluation and self-reflection.
