We are seeking volunteers to help us celebrate 40 years of NAISDA during our very special 2016 season – Circle of Cultures.
If you are available to volunteer a few days or even a few hours of your time between 15-24 November 2016 at Carriageworks in Redfern, Sydney, we want to hear from you!
TO BE A VOLUNTEER YOU NEED:
– An interest in dance and the performing arts
– An ability to work and competently communicate with people from diverse backgrounds (where English is a second language)
– An awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander diversity
– A friendly personality to offer strong customer service and work well with a team
HOW WILL YOU BENEFIT?
– Exposure to both dance industry and the broader Arts community
– Experience Traditional and contemporary culture first hand while in an urban environment
– Opportunity to meet influential cultural leaders and dance industry members
