Another successful cultural exchange with NAISDA Developing Artists, NAISDA staff, Gosford City Council, Margaret Hardy, Narara Valley High School and our special visitors from Edogawa Youth Wing and Japan last Friday 24 July 2015.
It was fantastic to see the interaction and sharing of cultures between our NAISDA DAs, Japanese students and local Narara Valley High students. We were even treated to impromptu dancing by our DAs and visitors …which included a rare insight into Tahitian dancing.
A big thank you to all our DAs who made this event even more unique and a highlight of our Japanese visitors trip to Australia. Thank you to Berthalia Selena Reuben for teaching cultural dances from Moa Island to our visitors as well.
