Please note, applications for the Lucy Guerin Inc and NAISDA Dance College First Nations Graduate Internship 2022 have now closed.
In 2022, a recent NAISDA graduate will join Lucy Guerin Inc for a 4-week paid internship. Tailored to the artist’s aspirations, this may include joining rehearsals with the performance company, participating in classes, workshops and discussions at WXYZ Studios, and engaging with the local dance scene.
Supported throughout by First Nations mentor, Amrita Hepi, this internship aims to offer the selected artist an introduction to life as an independent dance artist in Melbourne and support them in developing strong connections to the professional dance industry.
This program has been generously supported by the Linnell/Hughes Trust and Eirene Lucas Foundation. Lucy Guerin Inc is also supported by the City of Melbourne, Creative Victoria and the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body. NAISDA Dance College is proudly supported by the Australian Government and the NSW Government.
