How the Application and Audition Process Works
Key Dates
  • 31 August 2026 – Applications close
  • 28 – 30 September 2026 – Onsite auditions at NAISDA
  • December 2026 – Study offers issued
  • February 2027 – Term One commences
Step 1 – Apply Online

Read the relevant Course Information Sheet and the Prospectus and Application Guide, then complete the online application form.

The application takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. You will need photo identification ready to upload as proof of identity.

Once submitted, you will receive an email confirming your application has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder.

Our team will then review your application and contact you regarding the next stage of the process.

Step 2 – Attend an Onsite Audition

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a three-day onsite audition at NAISDA on Darkinjung Country, Kariong, NSW.

Auditions are an opportunity for us to get to know you and your potential, while giving you the chance to meet our trainers, learn more about NAISDA and experience campus life.

NAISDA provides accommodation and meals during the audition period.

Travel Assistance

Eligible applicants who live more than 90 minutes from the NAISDA campus may be able to access ABSTUDY assistance for travel and related audition costs.

We encourage applicants to familiarise themselves with the ABSTUDY process through Services Australia before auditions commence.

If you are unable to attend the scheduled audition dates, please submit your application and contact us as soon as possible on 1800 117 116 or auditions@naisda.com.au so alternative arrangements can be considered.

Step 3 – Study Offers

Following auditions, NAISDA’s selection panel will review all applicants.

All auditionees will be notified of the outcome. Successful applicants will receive a formal Study Offer for the following academic year.
