Tahlia Newton is a proud Wiradjuri women from Cowra NSW and is a returning DA in certificate III. Tahlia came to NAISDA because she want to expand her cultural knowledge and dance technique as well as trying new dance styles and meeting new people. Tahlia started her dance journey from a young age with an aboriginal dance group called dinawans connection based in Cowra. She participated in NAISDA’s Kinship and Connection program inspiring her to pursue her dance journey with NAISDA.
