Jasmine was born in Murwillumbah, Northern NSW.
Her Aboriginal heritage comes from her mothers line – Kabi Kabi SE Queensland (Sunshine Coast). Her father came to Australia from Slovakia via Germany during WWII.
Her association with NAISDA started in the early 80s when she was introduced to performing arts as a career choice. Jasmine graduated from the College in 1988 and has had a continuing successful career in dance ever since.
In 2009 she returned to the college to take up the position of Artistic Producer and Unit Manager Cultural Delivery.
Jasmine is passionate about living and her hobbies are; gardening, swimming, reading and the occasional DIY house renovations.
