I am a proud descendant of the Biripi people from the mid-North Coast of New South Wales, and I was born and raised on Darkinjung Country.
I have been with NAISDA since August 2019 and I am employed as a Youth Engagement Officer.
I am so grateful to work in an organisation that fuels my passion for the empowerment of my people and connection to culture through education and the arts. I have worked with Aboriginal people and communities for over 15 years in various fields throughout New South Wales and Victoria. To be able to come to work every day, a proud black woman in a space where culture is at the heart of all the work we do, is a blessing. I dedicate my life to my children and raising them as proud, strong Aboriginal and Maori people.
NAISDA lights a fire inside me to thrive, to have every opportunity available to my people whether they come from urban, rural or remote communities.
