Adina is a proud Djabuguy woman from Cairns in Far North Queensland. Adina is currently studying fulltime for her Diploma in dance at NAISDA. She joined NAISDA to explore new career pathways and discover the possibilities that working in the arts would present. She has a passion to deepen understanding of her culture.
Adina has performed at the opening of VIVID Sydney in 2022, choreographed by Deon Hastie. She also performed in NAISDA’s 2023 performance of ATI at Carriageworks, Sydney directed by Deon Hastie. NAISDA has provided Adina with valuable learning opportunities including the 2023 remote cultural residency to the community of Nyinyikay in North East Arnhem Land.
