Apply to Audition at NAISDA

The Application and Audition Process to join the NAISDA 2022 cohort is now closed.

Details of how to apply to join NAISDA in 2023 will be available from April 2022.

To keep everyone safe and in response to COVID-19 restrictions, all NAISDA 2021 auditions were held completely online.

How do online auditions work?

We prepared two dance routines – a Contemporary Aboriginal Dance and a Urban Style Dance which applicants watched and learnt at their own pace. Once confident, applicants uploaded the dances to the NAISDA Application Form.

Once we received application forms and dance videos, we contacted applicants to organise a convenient time for a friendly 30-minute online interview.
