Advanced Diploma Application Process

Stage 1: Complete the Application Form by 23 October

Complete the online form to apply to study the Advanced Diploma at NAISDA from February 2021 onwards.

You are able to save your progress and return to the form later, however it is a good idea to have all your attachments and information ready before you start including a headshot photograph of yourself.

Applications to audition in Stage 1 will remain open until 23 October 2020, however, we encourage you to complete and submit this form as early as possible to give maximum preparation time for subsequent stages and tasks.

Stage 2: Meet the Course Coordinators

We will contact you within 5 working days of receiving your application form. Successful applicants will be invited to attend a meeting with the Course Coordinators for an overview and discussion of course possibilities. You can choose whether to do this online or in person at NAISDA.  The meeting is an opportunity to discuss your experience and aspirations for the course. This will include further discussion about course units applicable to your needs.

Stage 3: Evidence Gathering

We will ask for further information or evidence regarding your:

  • Creative Vision
  • Current Creative Practice
  • Vision for the course
  • Outline of units and streams of study preferred
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
  • Credit Transfer (CT)

Stage 4: Final Interview

We will invite you to attend a final interview (either online or in person) and collaborative discussion of the unit possibilities which best work for the development of your practice and career.

Following Stage 4 interviews, final offers will be made and enrolment paperwork and processes will be completed.
