NAISDA features in 30 Seconds of Freedom - 19.05.20

A few weeks ago NAISDA produced a short video featuring Developing Artists’ movements inspired by hand washing.

We recently entered it into an international dance film festival called ’30 Seconds of Freedom’, which premiered an online film, featuring our Developing Artists on Saturday 16 May.

We were honoured to be a part of this project, which unites dancers from around the world in an expression of movement.

Here’s what the Festival Organisers at Serendipity-UK shared with us:

“I wanted to personally thank you for being part of Alternative LDIF20 and for your continued support. Please extend my thanks to the students, who feature as part of the closing credits with their inspired hand washing movements, which are a zeitgeist of our times.

Take the opportunity to watch the film, to share and leave your comments, and to take a moment for a breath. These are difficult times but I have been overwhelmed by the way that we have still come together through these digital spaces to connect through dance.

Thank you again for being part of this journey.”
