Notice of Cancellation of NAISDA Graduation Ceremony 9 April 2020 - 18.03.20

On behalf of the NAISDA Board we would like to let our community know that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s NAISDA Graduation Ceremony which was scheduled to take place on Thursday 9 April 2020.

The unfortunate cancellation is in line with health authority recommendations in relation to the COVID-19 virus. It is part of NAISDA’s preventative approach to secondments, excursions, events and public engagements to ensure the safety of our Developing Artists, staff, families and communities.

NAISDA will still confer qualifications and awards and recognises the importance of this event. We are therefore making alternative arrangements to mark the occasion and achievements of our Class of 2019 Graduates and Developing Artists online.

We would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that as a part of our risk management/mitigation approach, NAISDA has taken the decision to cease onsite training from Friday 20 March, bring forward the holiday break and implement online learning options.

Further information regarding the full NAISDA response plan can be found on our website. As this is an evolving situation, we will reassess regularly and communicate updates or changes across our social media channels and website.

Should you have a particular concern or query relating to any of this information, please contact NAISDA on (02) 4340 3100 or by emailreception@naisda.com.au.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work through this together.
