Last month, NAISDA played host to a number of talented performers from Indonesia, as part of the Australia Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP). AIYEP, now in its 36th year, links youth (21-25 years old) in Australia and Indonesia through social, professional and cultural exchange.
It was a fantastic experience, during which NAISDA’s Developing Artists and staff were treated to vibrant cultural performances from the AIYEP participants. Our Developing Artists were also given an opportunity to share their own cultural dances as part of the cultural exchange.
