Returning to Australia for the first time in 15 years and for the first time in Cairns, The Royal Ballet will stage a very special Gala Performance in Cairns’ Munro Martin Parklands on Wednesday 12 July, presented by Queensland Performing Arts Centre and Cairns Regional Council.
Featuring an ensemble of dancers from the company, the Gala Performance will feature beautiful solos and duos from the company’s broad repertoire including Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, Don Quixote and Romeo and Juliet.
NAISDA is proud to be a part of this once in a lifetime event. Our Developing Artists will perform excerpts from From Sand to Stage as a prelude to The Royal Ballet’s main performance.
