NAIDOC Week 2017 is taking place from 2-9 July and NAISDA is proud to be involved in a number of community events throughout the week.

Canterbury Bankstown NAIDOC Celebrations
Date: Saturday 1st July
Time: 11am to 2pm
Venue: Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre, cnr Chapel and Rickard Roads, Bankstown
This is a free, family friendly community event which will include educational workshops and presentations, a reptile show, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance performances, kids activities, weaving workshops and a free BBQ!
NAIDOC in the City
Date: Monday 3rd July
Time: 11am to 3pm
Venue: Hyde Park, Sydney
NAIDOC in the City is a free, family-friendly day out. There will be lunch cooked in a traditional earth oven, performances by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians, market stalls, weaving demonstrations, sports workshops for kids and so much more.
NAIDOC Nunyara Aboriginal Health Family Fun Day
Date: Tuesday 4th July
Time: 10am to 3pm
Venue: The Entertainment Grounds, Racecourse Rd
Nunyara Aboriginal Health, Central Coast Local Health District is again hosting its popular annual NAIDOC Community Day for the Central Coast community.
Of course, in the lead up to these NAIDOC Celebrations will be NAISDA’s production Ngangga Ya (Speaking to the Futures), taking place at The Art House at Wyong from 28 to 30 June, tickets can be purchased via The Art House website or by calling (02) 4335 1485.
